岗位职责、工作范围:
Organization Unit: Department of Electrical ａｎｄ Electronics Engineering
The prime objectives of the job are:
1. To provide teaching assistance in the lab, including lab training ａｎｄ supervision for undergraduate students.
2. To assist in the maintenance ａｎｄ repairing of instrumentation ａｎｄ equipment in the department laboratories.
3. To ｓｅｌｅｃｔ ａｎｄ purchase new equipments for the department’s laboratories.
4. To service, repair ａｎｄ maintain specialist IT equipment for research, teaching ａｎｄ administrative purposes.
5. To advise on the purchase of computers ａｎｄ peripherals.
6. To check computer software ａｎｄ networks as appropriate.
7. To train or instruct other staff in the use of IT equipment ａｎｄ software as required ａｎｄ within the limits of technical competence.
8. To liaise with faculty/University staff ａｎｄ bodies outside to resolve problems.
9. Other duties commensurate with the grade ａｎｄ position as defined by the Head of Department or his Officers including support to other colleagues in the University when required, such as during times of peak workflow, holidays, sickness, etc.
10. Assistance with the preparation of new research funding applications.
11. Assistance where appropriate with the preparation of research publications.
个人要求、任职资格:
Masters Degree in Electrical ａｎｄ Electronics Engineering or related field. Bachelor Degree in Electrical ａｎｄ Electronics Engineering or related field is also acceptable with strong evidence of other qualifications or related working experience.
Ability to communicate in English ａｎｄ Chinese
Preferred knowledge, skills ａｎｄ experience
1. In depth knowledge of EEE subjects, especially in Electrical Power System area；
2. An understａｎｄing of the basic technical ａｎｄ scientific principles necessary for the work
3. Knowledge of Windows in a networking environment ａｎｄ other Microsoft applications
4. Knowledge of simulation software (PSPICE ａｎｄ Matlab)
5. The ability to repair a wide range of physics, electrical ａｎｄ electronic scientific equipments
Training
Training will be provided as appropriate, ａｎｄ appropriate training visits to other laboratories will be arranged.
注：熟悉《五略管理法》者优先。
